CALL TO WACO...LET'S MAKE A STAND
by Jack DeVault
Rendezvous: East Waco Roadside Loop 340 at FM 2491
11:00 a.m., Saturday April 3, 1993
On February 28, 1993 an organized force of federal
government police (BATF) attacked the residence of a group
of passive unthreatening people who called themselves the
Branch Davidians. Their home and place of study, work, and
worship is located about nine miles east of the city of
Waco, Texas.
Those inside the home were armed for just such an
occasion. They defended themselves and their families, and,
in the 90 minute battle it was reported that four BATF
agents were killed, and as many as ten of the defenders lost
their lives, including a small child. Several more were
wounded on both sides.
After the initial attack the FBI took charge of the
federal forces and a siege was begun.
The area was declared government property by government
seizure action. The FBI initiated a program of psychological
warfare, including threats, intimidation, warnings, and
sleep deprivation tactics including the use of bright lights
and amplified noises.
For a month following the attack the only information
available to the public was that which was released by
federal officers to compliant media representatives. No hard
questions were asked. The authority for the attack was not
questioned.
The alleged warrant was sealed. This meant that it could
be rewritten after the gestapo gains entry to the farmhouse
and has a chance to plant evidence.
On March 16th another group, the Constitutional
Foundation Association, or CFA, met at a church in San
Antonio to determine what had actually happened, what were
the current conditions, and what local Texans might do to
rescue the besieged residents of the Branch Davidian farm,
and restore order to their government. No action was
sponsored by the CFA, so interested patriots are going to
act.
This Saturday, April 3rd, unarmed men from all over Texas
and the nation will converge on the rendezvous point to
intervene and lend support to the besieged families at Mt.
Carmel.
We will demand that the BATF and FBI withdraw
immediately. We will also demand that the BATF and FBI
leaders including Ricks and Higgins and their supervisors be
held personally accountable for the damage, injuries, and
misery they have inflicted on the families at Mt. Carmel,
and make restitution from their personal funds for these
damages.
We will advise the state officers that we are citizens
and that we intend to restore the government to the people;
that the federal agents are here without the authority of
the state; that our Governor does not have authority to
relinquish our State's Constitutional police power to
unconstitutional United States "police."
We will be moving out from the rendezvous point on the
east side of Waco, at Loop 340 and FM 2491, at 11:00 a.m.
until we rescue the besieged individuals or are forcibly
detained.
   God be with us all.
   We'll see you there.
